Naturopathy
Weaves traditional and modern methods of healing to treat the whole.
Naturopathy seeks to find the “why”- the root cause rather than just alleviating symptoms. For example, a presentation of psoriasis may initiate a deeper dive into one’s immune, digestive, and nervous system to understand the true cause.
One of the founding principles of naturopathy is to treat the whole person. A naturopath will not only investigate the functioning of the body systems, but also explore emotional and spiritual wellbeing. This provides an opportunity for all the dots to be connected; whereby the whole is greater than the sum of dots. It also puts the individual first, rather than the disease/ imbalance.
